This night-to-remember serves two purposes: FUN-Raiser and FUND-Raiser! The LEGACY OF HOPE will be held at the beautiful new Omaha Botanical Gardens. Kocsis Memorial GO PLAY Tennis Day is underway. Mike Kelly, World-Herald columnist was the eminent Master of Ceremonies. It was held at: Park Inn Regency Lodge 909 S. 107th Avenue Omaha NE | | October 16, 2001 | This celebration also featured the launching of Sue's book "Medicine for the Spirit - From A to Y". Local television station WOWT created a beautiful feature article about Sue's book for their evening newscast. | | October 7, 2001 | The First Ever: Susanna M. Kocsis Memorial GO PLAY Tennis Day. This was a day to get away and play, all while raising money for the Foundation. This Fun Day was held at:Koch Family Tennis Center at Tranquility Park. | | September 12, 2001 | The Omaha Community Foundation has released their annual report for the year 2000. They are featuring an article about the Susie Q Foundation. Check out the 2000 Annual Report (you'll need Adobe Acrobat). | | 2000 | | December 5, 2000 | The birth of Susie Q Foundation. This foundation was established in honor of Susanna M. Kocsis, or "Susie Q" to many people. Its purpose is simple: to raise money in support of individuals and families affected by cancer. By design, both the Susie Q Foundation and "Susie Q" share the same birthday! |
